Customer Service/Dispatch

Gainesville, FL

We’re seeking a customer service representative to assist our surveillance agent and that will also handle dispatching. Must have a clean background and be able to pass a drug screen. High School diploma or equivalent GED required. Strong customer service skills, computer skills, and phone skills are a must. Prefer candidates who are familiar with DOT regulations and/or basic accounting background. Ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Expect a high volume of calls and electronic interaction (email, text, software chat, voicemails, etc). Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.

Job Requirements:

  • Accounting background preferred.
  • Strong Customer service skills and good computer skills.
  • Responsible for handling calls from customers. Taking care of questions, comments, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Assisting dispatch agents with debris load pick-ups.
  • Answering, making, or returning calls to clients about their needs and or other issues with services.
  • Using excel, quick books, and other programs to update any information.
  • Ability to work alone without much supervision sometimes.
  • Able to answer calls quickly and efficiently.
  • Communication with co-workers and customers about any issues.
  • Ability to produce organized and clear reports.

Heavy Haul Transport Driver (CDL)

Gainesville, FL

The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of CDL driving experience, specifically relating to heavy haul transportation, and will be willing to be cross-trained as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED
  • Class A CDL (Maintains current CDL license and medical certificate at all times)
  • 7-year clean, verifiable MVR and clean background
  • Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test
  • Must meet all FMCSA driver qualifications
  • Is available for holiday, weekend, and out of town work as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Be able to read and follow permits for oversize loads.
  • Have experience loading and securing heavy equipment.
  • Stay out on road for an extended period of time.
  • Abides by all DOT requirements and guidelines at all times.
  • Provides office with a current copy for files.
  • Promptly submits to annual random drug or alcohol screen as requested. Reviews Safety/Drug Video prior to assignment and annually throughout employment.
  • Arrives at work on time and clocks in and out as requested. Reports to work as scheduled without excessive absences.
  • Keeps assigned truck clean and uncluttered. Ensures the vehicle is in good working order by performing the DOT required checklist/walk around and promptly reports any mechanical problems to the mechanic and Supervisor. Provides documentation for office files each week.
  • Maintains speed limit and weight load per DOT requirements and operates vehicles in a safe manner at all times. Does not use a cell phone or other equipment while operating vehicles and or equipment.
  • Immediately reports any citations and or accidents to Supervisor and provides a copy of any ticket to the office for files. Provides a written report of what happened to the office for files.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with coworkers, supervisors, owners, and customers at all times.
  • If issued a fuel card, provides the office with a receipt of all purchases. Under no circumstances uses the card for nonbusiness related purchases.

Experience:

  • Truck Driving: 7 years (Prior Heavy Haul Experience Preferred)
  • Prior experience loading and securing heavy equipment.

License:

  • CDL Class A (Required)

Mulch Truck Driver (CDL)

Jacksonville & Gainesville, FL

The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of truck driving experience and will be willing to be cross-trained as needed.

Knuckleboom/Grapple Truck Operator

Requirements:

  • Required to climb up and down ladders.
  • Be able to work at heights of 15 feet.
  • Balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and walk.
  • Being familiar with heavy equipment and able to communicate with the operators is essential.
  • While performing the duties of this job, you will frequently work in all types of outside weather conditions, possibly being exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, and/or heavy dust.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Our company does “storm work” so if a hurricane comes through any of the surrounding areas (Florida, Georgia, NC/SC, Alabama) there may be travel required.

Scale Operator/Office Administrator

Orlando, FL

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Excel, spreadsheets, Quickbooks, and Point of Sale (POS).
  • Accounting background also a plus.

Job Description:

  • Weighs incoming and outgoing truck loads. Instructs new customers where to dump and procedures for
    dumping and weighing out.
  • Processes weight scale tickets and properly identifies all customers.
  • Monitors and informs all customers of unacceptable material in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Helps all retail customers as needed and ensures sales tax is accurately charged.
  • Keeps a list of tare weights for all routinely returning trucks.
  • Issues load tickets to loader pick up drivers. Identifies address, directions, and time for load to be picked up on the load ticket.
  • Inquires each morning who the designated site equipment operator is for the day and helps ensure he or she monitors the site for obvious environmental issues such as trash on the ground and any repairs that may be needed.
  • Receives inspection reports from drivers each day and ensures follow up and/or repairs are completed and documented both electronically and on paper.
  • Signs and reviews each fuel delivery to tanks.
  • Keeps an accurate Excel spreadsheet of daily activities.
  • Answers all phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintains office environment in a clean and organized manner.
  • Does other general office duties as needed such as filing, faxing, copying, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Mechanic

Gainesville, FL

Requirements:

Being familiar with heavy equipment and the ability to communicate with the operators is essential. Diesel mechanic experience is a plus.

Job Description:

  • Performs preventive maintenance inspection (PMI); troubleshoots, repairs, and rebuilds major components on various pieces of heavy equipment including but not limited to, heavy-duty truck and semi-tractors, grinders, excavators, skidders, bulldozers, etc.
  • Diagnosis of diesel engines/transmission problems and repairs. Air brake repairs. Electrical troubleshooting. HVAC systems. Brakes, seals, bearings, trailer repairs, and any other issues pertaining to maintaining our fleet to the highest standards possible.
  • Performs routine maintenance checks and adjustments on such things as fluid levels, hoses, belts, brakes, tires, and clutches; changes filters and oil, and lubricates vehicles and motor-driven equipment.
  • Maintains service logs and records of maintenance on vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Skill in operating tools equipment, parts, and procedures utilized during the repair and servicing of vehicles and equipment.
  • Skill in repair of special purpose equipment, ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.
  • Keeps tools, equipment, and work area clean, organized, and in good working condition.
  • Is available for out of town work as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
