Knuckleboom Operator

Tampa, FL

We are opening a new yard in Tampa. Must have a clean background and be able to pass a drug screen. High School diploma or equivalent GED required. Required to climb up and down ladders, be able to work at heights of 15 feet, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk. Being familiar with heavy equipment and able to communicate with the operators is essential. While performing the duties of this job, you will frequently work in all types of outside weather conditions, possibly being exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes and/or heavy dust. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Our company does “storm work” so if a hurricane comes through any of the surrounding areas (Florida, Georgia, NC/SC, Alabama) there may be travel required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Maintains current CDL license and medical certificate at all times. Provides the office with a current copy for files.
  • Abides by all DOT requirements and guidelines at all times.
  • Reviews Safety/Drug video prior to assignment and annually throughout employment.
  • Reports to work as scheduled without excessive absences.
  • Promptly submits to annual random drug or alcohol screen as requested.
  • Ensures vehicle is in good working order by performing the DOT required checklist/walk around and promptly reports any mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor. Provides documentation for office files each week.
  • Keeps assigned truck clean and uncluttered.
  • Maintains speed limit and weight load per DOT requirements and operates the vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, owners, and customers at all times.
  • Fills out daily driver logs completely and turns in all receipts/tickets at the end of each day.
  • Is available for out of town work as requested.
  • If assigned to an out of town job and staying at a hotel, turns in all paperwork from hotel stay to office.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knuckleboom/Grapple Truck Operator

Orange County

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED
  • Class A or B CDL Driver’s License w/ Air Brakes
  • 3-year clean MVR
  • Clean Background
  • Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test
  • Must meet all FMCSA Driver Qualifications
  • Must have at least 3 years verifiable heavy equipment operator experience
  • Must have basic computer skills/knowledge
  • Is available for holiday, weekend and out of town work as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Project/Sales Manager

Orlando, FL

Responsible for sales of products and services within the defined region. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through planning, utilization, and management of sales resources. Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short and long-term sales revenue. Manages all maintenance and equipment related support services provided to knuckle-boom and mulch trucks, heavy equipment, grinding machines, and chippers. This includes equipment records, DOT compliance (knuckle-boom and mulch trucks only), environmental issues related to equipment and equipment operation and maintenance, and any other task directly or indirectly related to maintenance or equipment operations.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Knows and supports the Policies/Procedures and standards of the company
2. Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales prices and discounts in consultation with the CEO/CFO.
3. Assists with preparing bids and sales proposals as needed. Attends pre-bid conferences as requested.
4. Formulates sales policies, practices and procedures and strategies in consultation with the CEO/CFO.
5. Accurately forecasts expected revenues. Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth. Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
6. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
7. Ensures safe and reliable equipment is available to meet operational requirements.
8. Manages/tracks performance on key cost factors including safety performance, staffing, asset usage, fuel usage, preventative maintenance, projects, and vendor usage. Develops and provides data reports as requested.
9. Directs the activities related to routing and scheduling.
10. Plans, organizes, and manages the work of the drivers/operators to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
11. Monitors operations to ensure that operators comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and DOT guidelines.
12. Promotes safe work activities by conducting safety audits/meetings and meets with individual drivers/operators as needed.
13. Conducts evaluations to ensure maintenance standards are met by performing random weekly inspections of all trucks and equipment to ensure that routine daily checks and maintenance are being done.
14. Assures preventive maintenance program compliance.
15. Ensures all required safety and maintenance documents are filed with the corporate office.
16. Arranges for necessary unscheduled repairs.
17. Stays informed on industry/DOT standards and changes through research, email alerts and/or periodicals.
18. Maintains clean and safe work environments.
19. Maintains a good working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, owners, and customers at all times.
20. Is available by phone or at the office during all operating hours. Flexible to work off-shift and weekends.
21. Protects operation by keeping personnel and financial information and plans confidential.
22. All other duties as assigned.
